About Raw Findings
We read the actual studies so you don't have to. No opinions, no sponsored content, no bro science. Just what the peer-reviewed research proves.
We got tired of being lied to.
Not maliciously, usually. Just casually. Confidently. By people who hadn't read the study they were citing, or had read the headline and stopped there, or had a supplement to sell and a statistic that supported it.
Men's health content has a problem. The incentives point in the wrong direction. Opinions get more clicks than nuance. Bold claims spread faster than honest ones. And the actual research — the peer-reviewed studies, the randomized controlled trials, the meta-analyses — sits behind paywalls and academic jargon, inaccessible to the people it's most relevant to.
Raw Findings exists to fix that.
What We Do
We read the studies. The actual studies — not the press releases, not the podcast summaries, not the influencer breakdowns. We go to PubMed. We pull the full text. We read the methods, the sample sizes, the limitations, the conclusions.
Then we translate them. Into plain language, without dumbing them down. With the context intact. With the caveats included. With the parts that complicate the headline — the parts most content leaves out — front and center.
Every article on Raw Findings is built around at least four peer-reviewed publications. We cite our sources. We link to the original research. We tell you when the evidence is strong, when it's weak, and when the honest answer is "we don't know yet."
What We Don't Do
We don't give opinions dressed up as findings.
We don't recommend supplements we have financial relationships with. We don't have financial relationships with supplement companies.
We don't cherry-pick studies that support a predetermined conclusion. If the research contradicts the popular claim, we say so. If the evidence goes both ways, we show you both sides.
We don't tell you what to do. We tell you what the research shows. What you do with that is your decision.
Who We Are
The Raw Findings Research Team. We're not doctors. We're not academics. We're people who got frustrated enough with the state of men's health content to do something about it.
We read studies obsessively. We care about getting it right more than getting clicks. And we believe that if you give men accurate information, they're capable of making good decisions for themselves.
That's the whole thing.
The Standard We Hold Ourselves To
Every claim we make is traceable to peer-reviewed research. Every article links to its sources. If we get something wrong, we correct it publicly and explain what we got wrong and why.
We publish three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
